If you are injured by a motor vehicle in Queensland, or by a motor vehicle that is registered in Queensland, you may be entitled to pursue a claim against the Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurer of the at fault driver and be entitled to compensation.

  10. cuts and bruises

There are strict time limits that apply if you are injured in a car accident and you wish to pursue a car accident claim. You must do so within three (3) years of the accident occurring. There are other important limits that apply and you should seek legal advice to ensure your rights are protected.

If the vehicle at fault is an unidentified vehicle, there are very urgent steps that must be taken and you should consult with a lawyer as soon as possible to protect your rights.

You are entitled to make a motor vehicle claim if:

  1. You were not at fault for the accident.
